With harvest moon comes bloated joy
Contentment on its highest peak,
My basket full of ripened dreams
Of desires picked and trees stripped bare.

When come the full moon night,
barren trees and worn out dreams
The basket lighter than the wind,
Empty but filled with anxious want.

With new seeds contentment dies
burns a hole in wooden weave,
Weight of unheeded prayers
Leaves behind a desperate stench.

Forgotten are the good and fulfilled,
I launch onto another road,
In shoes made from leftover gold,
Winter gone and Spring arrives.

With grass moon comes bloated joy
Contentment on its highest peak,
My basket full of ripened dreams
Of desires picked and trees stripped bare.

We are not always told what to do–
or do what we are told to do–
For unlike other species, we fight ourselves
thus the power of mirrors
when wish to see beneath the skin.

Even so there are many among us,
live and die most tragically
when the end holds no meaning
from an empty, wasteful existence.

Get out, get out, you must get out

Dance before the thoughts begin,
Roar when voice too small to squeak
Laugh before the world turns bleak.

Swallow fear with bitten tongue
Test the waters of songs unsung,
Ride the waves without regret
to whatever end behind sunset

most pleasant,
quiet love.

Single rose,
one sweet stem,
humble,
angelic wish.

Waves,
softhearted blues,
unspoken joy,
endless pulse

In rapture the greatest doubts appear,
When guards are too drunk to care.
Slither on through unlocked doors
Caution sleeping on the floor.

Intoxicated by the joy of laughter,
the jokers dozed unheard,
Walls began to shake and tremble,
Behind what seemed so stable.

A smile here is another frown there,
Happiness only a quick affair,
The greatest joys breathes behind a facade
where All the greatest doubts are made.
